A main, single advert at the top of the newsletter (gets the highest CTR).
When you purchase sponsorship, you get one advertisement in our Thursday newsletter.
We offer main ad sponsorship which appears at the top of the newsletter and which typically sees higher CTR or you can appear as an unclassified ad towards the end of the newsletter which is great for SaaS, Ai tools and more.
The newsletter is published every Thursday morning and sent again the following Wednesday to non-opens.
You can expect 90 - 250 clicks to your website or offer, depending on relevancy and positioning and pricing reflects this.
Your sponsorship will also remain live forever on each newsletter as they are published on our website.
The cost to run an ad is £500 for a main ad or £250 for an unclassified.
Please Note: There are no cancellations or reschedules due to timing, availability, and holding the date. We also reserve the right to decline any sponsors that aren't a good fit for Thursday Thunder (a full refund would be issued in that case.)
We also reserve the right to edit the copy to fit the above guidelines, send the newsletter at a different time, or run experiments.
We've now tested over 100 advertisements and can confidently say that short, intriguing ads with lead magnets perform the best. The longer the ad, the worse. The more unclear the CTA, the worse.
With that in mind, here are the creative requirements:
Ads are text only and can be 2 sentences long. Each sponsor can include two CTAs.
Perfect Example: John Smith writes a newsletter about scaling online education businesses. Get his free 117-page case study about how he grew a $10m course business from scratch.
You will supply the copy and I will edit it to fit my voice.
Ad copy is due 72 hours prior to the newsletter date.
All ads are subject to editorial approval.
